Terms and Conditions
Financial Protection
In order to meet the requirements of the Package Travel, Package Holiday and Package Tour Regulations 1992 and EC Directive 90/314 EC, your money will be kept in a HSBC Trust Account until such time that your holiday is complete.
Deposit/Bookings
To book a BMH holiday a £95 per person deposit is required and should be paid when returning your completed BMH booking form. Upon receipt we will issue a booking confirmation indicating the date on which the balance of your holiday is due. Holidays booked within 8 weeks of departure will require payment in full at the time of booking.
Pre booked ferry crossings must be paid for in full at the time of booking.
Payments
You can make payments by either cheque or credit/debit card (details will be supplied with your holiday package details).
Cancellations
If you cancel your holiday for whatever reason the following charges will apply:
- Deposit will not be returned for cancellations 8-2 weeks before departure
- The total cost of the package will be retained for cancellations 2 weeks or less before commencement of the holiday
- A £35 administration fee will be deducted from returned deposits for cancellations greater than 8 weeks before departure.
- Pre booked ferry crossings cannot be refunded.
We strongly recommend that you take out holiday/travel insurance to cover any losses
Changes to Your Holiday Itinerary
As BMH packages are often planned a long time in advance, changes to the itinerary may occur. If significant changes to the itinerary occur you will be advised and a full refund offered.
Surcharges
In very extreme circumstances due to situations beyond our control there may be an increase in the cost of your holiday. We will absorb all increases up to 2% of the quoted package price. If there are any increases above 2% we will inform you in writing of the changes and a full refund will be offered.
Delays
Although we carefully plan your holiday to make it run as smoothly as possible, delays can happen. We cannot be held responsible for delays beyond our control such as those caused by adverse weather conditions, traffic congestion, cancelled or late ferries and industrial action.
Our Responsibilities
At BMH we make every effort to ensure that all aspects of your holiday as outlined in the holiday package details provided to you are as accurate and up to date as possible. We will also ensure that all of your holiday arrangements are made with and through reputable third parties. However, we cannot be held responsible for any changes to the amenities at destinations.
Your Responsibilities
As a motorcyclist you are responsible to abide by all traffic and local laws. In the event that there is a breach of any laws associated with your BMH package, you are entirely responsible for any penalty that may arise.
We strongly advise that you are covered by emergency breakdown insurance. We will assume that you and anyone else in your party have taken out the necessary cover.
If a breakdown/emergency does occur we will offer all reasonable assistance to re-arrange your travel plans as far as possible, but the breakdown/emergency remains the sole responsibility of the rider.
